Van Driver - Pershore
Pay: £13.50 per hour PAYE, with a higher rate potentially available for candidates with strong relevant experience

Pertemps are recruiting for a reliable Van Driver for a client based in Pershore. This is a hands-on role involving deliveries and the lifting and handling of heavy goods. It would suit someone who enjoys practical work and is comfortable with varied working hours.
Start times and shift lengths will vary depending on the work scheduled. Some days may involve long hours, so flexibility is essential. Occasional weekend availability is also required; when you work a weekend day, you will be given a day off during the week.
The role:
Driving a van to carry out deliveries
Loading, unloading and safely handling heavy goods
Taking care when transporting and delivering items
Working flexibly to meet changing start times and delivery schedules
Assisting with practical tasks where required
Assembly or carpentry experience would be a huge advantage, although it is not essential.
What you’ll need:
A valid UK manual driving licence
No more than 6 points and no endorsements
To be over 21 years old
The ability to lift heavy goods and carry out physical work
Previous Van driving experience
Flexibility to work varying shifts, potentially long days and occasional weekends
A reliable, practical approach and good customer service skills
