We are currently working with a well-established organisation who are looking to recruit an experienced Repairs Coordinator to join their team in Billericay.
The Role:
As a Repairs Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day repairs and maintenance works, ensuring jobs are scheduled efficiently and customers and operatives are kept informed throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinating and scheduling repairs and maintenance works.
Planning and allocating jobs to operatives and contractors.
Managing diaries and arranging appointments with residents and customers.
Liaising with operatives, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure works are completed efficiently.
Handling customer queries and providing updates on outstanding repairs.
Monitoring jobs through to completion and following up on outstanding works.
Dealing with access issues, cancellations and rebookings.
Maintaining accurate records and updating repairs management systems.
Ensuring works are completed within agreed timescales and service levels.
Providing general administrative support to the repairs and maintenance team.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a Repairs Coordinator, Repairs Planner, Scheduler or Maintenance Coordinator role.
Experience within property services, social housing, construction or maintenance is desirable.
Strong organisational and administration skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively.
Good IT skills and experience using Microsoft Office.
A proactive and professional approach.
