My client are a specialist civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Site Agent to help deliver a tunnelling project in Grays, with an immediate start available. The successful candidate must have previous tunnelling and underground civils experience.
Site Agent Responsibilities:

Managing day-to-day site operations

Supervising subcontractors and site teams
-
Managing tunnelling and underground works
-
Toolbox talks
-
Client and stakeholder liaison
-
Health and safety compliance
-
Managing RAMS, permits and temporary works
-
Coordinating labour, plant and materials
-
Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification
-
Monitoring quality and maintaining site records
-
Reporting progress to the Project Manager
Site Agent Requirements:

Black or Gold CSCS
-
SMSTS
-
Strong tunnelling experience is essential

Previous experience managing underground civil engineering projects
-
Experience with shafts, deep excavations or SCL would be advantageous
-
Strong civil engineering background
-
Experience managing subcontractors and site teams
-
Good understanding of temporary works and RAMS
-
Full UK driving licence
