CNC Machinist
Location: Hayes, Middlesex
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £30,000 to £40,000
About the Role
We are looking for experienced CNC Machinists to join our engineering team in Hayes. We are interested in machinists with experience across CNC turning and milling, including 3, 4 and 5-axis machining.
The successful candidates will be confident in setting, operating and programming their own work, producing high-quality precision components to tight tolerances.
Key Responsibilities
Set, operate and programme CNC turning and milling machines.
Work across 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC machining.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Select tooling and set appropriate cutting parameters.
Programme machines and make necessary adjustments during production.
Inspect finished components and ensure they meet required tolerances.
Troubleshoot machining, tooling and programming issues.
Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy.
Follow health and safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment.About You
Experienced CNC Machinist with a strong engineering background.
Proven experience in CNC turning and/or milling.
Experience with 3, 4 and 5-axis machining.
Able to set and programme machines independently.
Confident reading engineering drawings and working to tight tolerances.
Good knowledge of tooling, materials and machining processes.
Experience with Fanuc, Hurco, Mazatrol or similar controls is advantageous.
Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
