Our client, a leading tier 1 contractor in the water and civil engineering sector, is seeking experienced Site Agent's to support multiple projects across Portsmouth. This long-term contract opportunity involves overseeing site activities and ensuring that water infrastructure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing day-to-day site operations across water infrastructure projects
Supervising site teams and coordinating subcontractors to ensure effective project delivery
Overseeing shallow surface drainage, landscaping and concrete plinth works
Maintaining high standards of health, safety, quality and environmental compliance
Monitoring progress, materials and resources against project requirements
Completing site documentation, inspections and reports
Communicating effectively with project managers, engineers, clients and site personnel
Job Requirements:
Experience working as a Site Agent or in a similar site management role within the water or civil engineering sector
Valid CSCS card
SMSTS qualification
Level 3 First Aid qualification
Manual Handling certification
Confined Space - Medium Risk certification
NRSWA qualification
Asbestos Awareness certification
Strong knowledge of site health and safety procedures
Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills
