Health, Safety and Fire Consultant
Location: Yorkshire
Salary: Up to £50,000 depending on experience
An established and growing consultancy is looking to appoint a Health, Safety and Fire Consultant to support its client base across Yorkshire and the surrounding region.
This is a field-based role offering a varied workload across fire safety and health and safety, supporting clients across retail, commercial and potentially manufacturing environments.
The role would suit an experienced Fire Risk Assessor or Health and Safety professional with strong fire safety experience who is confident working independently and providing practical, technically sound advice to clients.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake Fire Risk Assessments across a variety of client sites
Complete health and safety assessments and audits
Carry out combined fire and health and safety assessments
Produce clear, detailed and technically robust reports
Provide practical advice and recommendations to clients
Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients
The Successful Candidate
You will ideally have:
Strong practical Fire Risk Assessment experience
A recognised fire safety qualification or substantial demonstrable FRA experience
Strong report-writing skills
Confidence dealing directly with clients
A willingness to travel regularly across Yorkshire and surrounding areas
A NEBOSH General Certificate or other health and safety qualification would be advantageous, although this is not essential.
Salary and Benefits
Salary up to £50,000 depending on experience
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

37.5-hour working week
