As a School Receptionist/Administrator in South East London, the successful candidate will manage the day-to-day duties within the school office.
Duties will include:
Welcoming pupils, parents, visitors and staff to the school.
Answering telephone calls and dealing with emails and enquiries.
Managing the school reception and acting as a professional first point of contact.
Maintaining accurate pupil and school records using MIS systems.
Updating and retrieving information from school databases.
Managing attendance, admissions and general pupil administration.
Preparing letters, reports and other school documentation.
Maintaining accurate records and completing data entry.
Handling sensitive information appropriately and following school procedures.
Providing administrative assistance to staff and the wider school team.
Managing a varied workload and prioritising tasks within a busy office environment.
About You - School Receptionist/Administrator
The school is looking for a School Receptionist/Administrator with previous administration experience and knowledge of working within a school setting.
The successful candidate will have:
Previous experience working as a School Receptionist/Administrator, School Administrator, Receptionist or in a similar administrative role.
Experience working within a school or education setting.
Good working knowledge of MIS systems and the ability to maintain accurate pupil records.
Experience working within a busy environment with a varied workload.
Strong IT and administrative skills.
The ability to write and speak with ease.
Good attention to detail and accuracy when handling data.
A professional telephone manner and approach to reception duties.
