Our client, a leading organisation within the construction and infrastructure sector, is seeking a Document Controller for a cpart time contract position (2-3 days / week).
The role will support the effective management, organisation and distribution of project documentation, ensuring records are accurate, accessible and maintained in line with company and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing the receipt, registration, filing and distribution of project documents
Maintaining accurate document control systems and electronic databases
Ensuring documentation is correctly formatted, version-controlled and issued to relevant stakeholders
Monitoring document status and following up on outstanding reviews, approvals and comments
Supporting the preparation and maintenance of document registers and transmittals
Working closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors and other project teams
Ensuring records are stored securely and comply with project procedures and quality standards
Assisting with the compilation of handover and close-out documentation
Job Requirements:
Experience in document control, project administration or a similar construction or engineering environment
Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
Understanding of document management processes, version control and document registers
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
Familiarity with electronic document management systems and collaborative project platforms
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet project deadlines
A proactive and methodical approach to working within a busy project environment
