My client in the Rugby area are looking for skilled Sewing Machinists.
The Role
You may be working with a range of fabrics and materials to produce quality finished products, including:
Operating industrial sewing machines such as flatbeds, overlockers and twin-needle machines
Sewing fabric components from patterns, templates, samples or specifications
Working with upholstery fabrics, technical textiles and heavier materials
Producing accurate seams, panels, covers and finished components
Checking stitching, measurements and overall finish for quality
Working independently while meeting production targets and standards
What We’re Looking For
Previous industrial sewing machine experience is essential
Confident using industrial flatbed and/or overlock sewing machines
Good understanding of fabric handling, seams and stitching quality
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Able to work confidently with different or heavier-weight materials
Reliable with a positive, hands-on approach
Experience within upholstery, furniture manufacturing, automotive trimming, textile manufacturing, protective products or other industrial sewing environments would all be highly relevant.
