Heat Treatment Operative - Lincoln - Rotating Shifts; Days, Afternoons, Nights
About the Role
Our client is seeking a reliable and motivated Heat Treatment Operative to join its manufacturing team in Lincoln. Working within a fast-paced engineering environment, you will be responsible for operating heat treatment equipment and ensuring components are processed to the required specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operate heat treatment furnaces and associated equipment in accordance with work instructions and production schedules.
Load and unload components safely using handling equipment and cranes where trained and authorised.
Monitor furnace temperatures, cycle times and process parameters to ensure product conformity.
Complete production documentation and maintain accurate process records.
Carry out visual inspections and basic quality checks on components.
Support furnace maintenance activities and report equipment issues promptly.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and comply with all Health & Safety procedures.Requirements/Desirable Skills
Previous experience within manufacturing, production, engineering or industrial environments.
Experience operating furnaces or heat treatment equipment would be advantageous.
Ability to follow work instructions and quality procedures.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
