We are seeking an experienced Fire Safety Officer / Fire Safety Manager with a strong background across capital projects, estates, facilities management, and compliance within a complex property portfolio.
Essential Experience

Proven experience delivering fire safety compliance across large and diverse estates portfolios.

Strong understanding of fire safety legislation, regulations, and industry best practice.

Experience working on capital projects, ensuring fire strategies are developed, reviewed, and implemented throughout the project lifecycle.

Knowledge of building design, refurbishment, and construction projects, including fire-stopping, compartmentation, passive fire protection, and means of escape.

Experience advising estates, facilities management, and project delivery teams on fire safety matters.

Demonstrable experience managing Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) and associated remedial works programmes.

Ability to review and challenge fire strategies, technical drawings, and compliance documentation.

Experience of contractor management and monitoring compliance standards across operational and project environments.

Local Authority, NHS, University, Housing Association, or wider public sector experience.
