We are partnering with a large and complex healthcare organisation to appoint an exceptional Finance Director. This is a high-profile leadership opportunity with responsibility for commercial finance across a substantial operational division.
You will combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, helping operational leaders make better decisions, improve financial performance and deliver a significant transformation agenda. This opportunity will suit a commercially minded healthcare finance leader who thrives on influence, challenge and change.
The Opportunity
Lead a high-performing finance team and develop a genuine finance business partnering culture.
Partner with senior operational leaders, providing insight and constructive challenge to improve commercial and financial performance.
Take ownership of budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and delivery of the agreed financial plan.
Drive revenue growth, margin improvement, cost optimisation and operational efficiency programmes.
Provide senior financial oversight for business cases, investment decisions, tenders and strategic initiatives.
Lead financial and operational transformation, maintaining a quantified improvement pipeline and tracking benefits realisation.
Identify emerging commercial and financial risks early, ensuring clear corrective actions are implemented.
Strengthen management information and commercial reporting to enable faster, better decision-making.About You
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with a strong record of finance leadership in a complex, commercially focused environment.
Significant experience in commercial finance, finance business partnering or Finance Director-level roles.
Experience leading and developing finance managers or Heads of Finance.
Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and financial modelling expertise.
A track record of holding operational teams to account for financial performance.
Experience of bids, tenders, contract procurement or complex commercial arrangements.
Proven delivery of transformation, cost efficiency and margin improvement programmes.
The credibility to influence senior operational and executive stakeholders.
The ability to translate complex financial information into clear, practical commercial insight.Must Have Experience
