Skills Development Tutor – Automotive & IQA
Salary: Up to £35,000 per year
Location: Greater Manchester – Hybrid
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Are you an experienced Automotive professional with a passion for teaching, coaching and developing others?
We have a fantastic opportunity and looking for a Skills Development Tutor specialising in Automotive and Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) to join a growing education and skills team.
You’ll work with learners across a range of programmes, helping them develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours they need to progress in their careers.
The Role

Manage and support your own learner caseload.

Deliver engaging face-to-face and blended learning.

Plan and develop high-quality learning materials.

Assess and provide constructive feedback on learner work.

Track learner progress and provide support where needed.

Support internal quality assurance and continuous improvement.

Maintain your own industry knowledge and professional development.
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
-
5+ years' vocational Automotive industry experience

1–2 years' teaching, learning and assessment experience

Relevant professional/industry qualifications.

Experience working within quality and Ofsted standards.

A Diploma in Education and Training (DET) or equivalent, or a willingness to work towards one.

Strong communication, coaching and learner engagement skills.

Confidence using Microsoft Office and digital learning platforms.
