Locksmith / Carpenter
Location: Dudley and surrounding areas Hourly Rate: £21-£23 per hour Payment: CIS, paid weekly Contract: Ongoing, temporary to permanent
Think Recruitment are working with a council maintenance contractor and are currently looking for an experienced Locksmith / Carpenter to work across council properties in the Dudley area.
The successful candidate will mainly carry out authorised forced entries, lock work and associated carpentry repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out authorised forced entries to council properties.
Remove, repair and replace locks where required.
Make doors and properties safe and secure following entry.
Complete associated carpentry and door repairs.
Work professionally across occupied and empty properties.
Complete all work safely and to the required standard.
Requirements:
Previous locksmith or carpentry experience.
Experience completing forced entries and lock changes.
Competent in door repairs and general carpentry work.
Own tools and transport.
Ability to work independently and manage a daily workload.
Good customer-service and communication skills.
This is an ongoing contract offering weekly CIS payments and the opportunity to secure a permanent position.
