Alliance Personnel are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join one of our manufacturing clients.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing metal welding operations using Metal Inert Gas (MIG) techniques to assemble, repair, and fabricate steel components. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with various hand and power tools, and a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality welds that meet safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Set up welding equipment and select appropriate materials and settings based on project specifications
Perform MIG welding on various metals, including steel and sheet metal, ensuring strong, consistent welds
Use hand tools and power tools to prepare materials, including cutting, grinding, and shaping metal components
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions accurately
Conduct quality inspections of welds for defects or inconsistencies and make necessary adjustments
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
Assist with fabrication tasks such as cutting, fitting, and assembling metal parts as needed
Utilize basic math skills to measure and mark materials precisely before welding
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship
