Location: Newmarket, Suffolk

We’re recruiting an experienced Wireman to join an engineering business based in Newmarket.
This is a hands-on role involving the wiring, assembly and testing of electrical systems, working from drawings and schematics.
Key Responsibilities:

Electrical wiring and assembly
-
Control panel wiring
-
Cable preparation, routing and termination

Working from electrical drawings and schematics
-
Testing and fault finding
-
Identifying and rectifying wiring issues

Working alongside mechanical and engineering teams
What We’re Looking For:

Previous Wireman, Panel Wireman or Electrical Assembly experience

Confident reading electrical drawings and schematics
-
Good electrical wiring and termination skills

Strong attention to detail

Engineering/manufacturing experience preferred
Electrical qualifications such as NVQ, City & Guilds or 17th/18th Edition would be advantageous but are not essential.
Salary up to £35,000 depending on experience.
