We are currently recruiting for an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join a busy manufacturing environment on a temporary basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for MIG welding and fabricating metal components, working from technical drawings and specifications to produce high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities

MIG welding using power and hand tools.

Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.

Fabricating and welding metal components to required standards.

Completing production and quality records.

Carrying out product testing and quality checks.

Reporting faulty equipment, maintenance requirements or repairs to the supervisor.

Safely moving products using cranes and other workshop equipment.

Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience in MIG welding and fabrication.

The ability to read and work from technical drawings.

Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

A reliable and practical approach to work.

Good awareness of workshop health and safety.

Experience using workshop tools and equipment.
-
Crane or lifting equipment experience would be advantageous.
