This role involves working across various social housing locations within Ilford, where you will be responsible for the installation and fitting of fire doors. The position requires a candidate with prior experience specifically in fire doors, ensuring adherence to safety standards and precise finishing. You will be transporting doors to different sites daily, therefore, a large van is essential for the task. The work schedule runs from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a competitive daily rate of £270. The company provides free parking and easy access to materials, as doors are stored in a lock-up with convenient proximity to each site. The successful candidate will start on Monday, 28th, making this an excellent opportunity for experienced carpenters to join a well-organised team on a long-term contract.
Previous experience in fire door installation and maintenance
Must have a large van for transportation to multiple sites
Good understanding of health and safety regulations related to fire doors
Ability to work independently across different locations within Ilford
