Experienced Quantitative Analyst required for an organisation based in central Scotland.
You'll provide quantitative research and analysis across a varied range of complex questions, using data to identify trends, differences and potential future trends and outcomes.
You'll use a range of statistical techniques to investigate complex datasets and answer challenging research questions. This could include building models to understand and predict outcomes, applying Bayesian methods, testing statistical assumptions, identifying patterns and analysing how results change over time. You'll often be working with data from multiple sources, so experience handling large, messy or incomplete datasets, alongside an understanding of uncertainty and potential bias, is important.
You'll have significant autonomy as an individual contributor, taking unclear questions, determining the appropriate data and analytical approach, and communicating findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Key skills:
** Strong quantitative and statistical analysis experience
** Bayesian modelling and statistical validation
** Python or R
** Predictive modelling, forecasting and segmentation
** Experience working with large, complex datasets
** Ability to work with incomplete information and datasets
