PROMAN UK is currently recruiting for a Cleaner to work outside Liverpool.
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Shifts available from 05:00 to 20:00 (37.5 hours a week)
Duration: 12 months

General Overview & Responsibilities
The Cleaner is responsible for ensuring the delivery of a high-quality cleaning service throughout corporate and council buildings maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer satisfaction at all times.
Key responsibilities include:
• Supervising and supporting all cleaning staff, ensuring high standards of performance, conduct, and professionalism are maintained.
• Ensuring a first-class cleaning service is consistently delivered across all areas of the building.
• Planning, reviewing, and adjusting work schedules to meet operational requirements.
• Requesting additional cleaning materials and consumables through the Group Supervisor when required.
• Promptly communicating any operational issues, staffing concerns, or service-related matters to the Group Supervisor.
• Monitoring and auditing cleaning activities to ensure compliance with company standards and procedures.
• Delivering monthly Toolbox Talks to team members and providing feedback to the Line Manager.
• Conducting monthly one-to-one meetings with team members to discuss performance, wellbeing, and to communicate company updates, news, and social or volunteering opportunities.
• Ensuring all team members understand and comply with Health and Safety policies, procedures, and safe working practices.
• Supporting the training, development, and motivation of the cleaning team to encourage continuous improvement.
Daily Activities
The specific duties of the Cleaner may include, but are not limited to:
• Cleaning and maintaining all surfaces, fixtures, and fittings, including floors, walls, partitions, internal woodwork, kitchens, catering facilities, toilets, changing rooms, and other sanitary areas.
• Operating and cleaning equipment safely and effectively, ensuring it is maintained in good working order after use.
• Undertaking periodic and specialist cleaning tasks as directed by management.
• Collecting, segregating, and disposing of waste appropriately, while promoting recycling and sustainable waste management practices.
• Refilling and replacing consumables, including soap, paper products, and other hygiene supplies, to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.
• Reporting defective equipment, hazards, damage, or maintenance requirements through the appropriate reporting channels.
• Carrying out routine inspections to ensure all areas meet agreed cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Responding promptly and professionally to customer requests and operational requirements.
This role requires a proactive and hands-on approach, with a strong commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all building occupants and visitors.
We are seeking a professional and adaptable Mobile Cleaning Supervisor to provide operational support across multiple sites located in Ellesmere Port, Chester, and Winsford.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing cleaning operations, supporting site teams, maintaining service standards, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures across all allocated locations.
Essential Requirements:
Full UK driving licence with the ability to travel between sites.
Previous supervisory experience within a cleaning or facilities management environment.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities.
