We are currently recruiting for a Parts Advisor to join a busy and well-established automotive operation in Rochester. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company that plays a key role within the UK's automotive supply chain, supporting the used vehicle sector.

The Role
Working closely with the Parts Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of the parts department, ensuring vehicle parts are available when needed and helping maintain efficient workshop operations.
Key Responsibilities
Managing and maintaining stock levels within the workshop
Booking goods into the system accurately
Identifying and sourcing vehicle parts
Ordering parts from suppliers and liaising with internal teams
Conducting regular stock checks and inventory audits
Responding to emails, telephone enquiries and general administration tasks
Updating and maintaining accurate records on internal systems
Ensuring parts are supplied to the workshop efficiently and on time
Supporting the wider team with additional duties as required
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a parts, stock control or warehouse environment would be advantageous
Trainee candidates with a genuine interest in the automotive industry are encouraged to apply
Automotive knowledge is beneficial but not essential
Confident using computer systems and Microsoft Excel
Strong communication and organisational skills
Good numerical and literacy abilities
Excellent attention to detail
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
