We are delighted to be recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Moulding Operative to join an established production team based in Telford.
The successful candidate will contribute towards the team's production activities, focusing on internal customer satisfaction, meeting production targets and ensuring customer delivery dates are achieved.
This is a varied production role involving moulding, finishing, product removal, basic tool and equipment maintenance, quality control and housekeeping.
The Role
As a Moulding Operative, you will report to the Team Leader and will be responsible for your own work while contributing towards the overall performance of the team.
You will support the production process and work flexibly across departments as required, ensuring production, quality, health and safety and employment standards are maintained.
The role may include working shifts when required.
Key Responsibilities
Production

Apply graphics.

Load mould tools.
-
Load the oven.
-
Carry out second shot processes.

Load the cooler.
-
Remove product, trim finished product.
-
Route joint line.
-
Insert face material.
-
Create an appropriate finish
-
Use effective production flow techniques.

Contribute towards meeting team production targets.

Work towards effective individual job times.

Work flexibly and in any department as required.
Maintenance & Housekeeping

Carry out basic tool maintenance.

Carry out basic frame maintenance.

Remove scrap.

Maintain good housekeeping.
