Conduct MOT tests on customers’ vehicles in accordance with Ministry standards
Diagnose vehicle issues and carry out service and repair work as necessary
Provide workshop support to ensure efficient operations
Liaise effectively with team members to maintain workflow and customer satisfaction
Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections and repairs
Uphold quality standards and compliance with safety regulationsRequirements of a MOT Tester:
Valid Class 4 and Class 7 MOT testing licences
Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
Ideally NVQ Level 3 or IMI qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair; however, experienced time-served mechanics with active MOT licences will also be considered
Proven experience in vehicle servicing and repairs
Strong communication skills and team player attitude
Ability to work efficiently and uphold high standards of qualityThis MOT Tester position offers flexible hours suitable for those seeking either full-time or part-time employment. The full-time schedule runs Monday to Friday, from 8:00am to 5:30pm, with two 30-minute breaks.
