Sutton Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative / Reach Truck Driver to join an established team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional looking for a full-time, permanent position, with excellent hourly rates and a structured rotating shift pattern.
Shift Pattern
You will be required to work a rotating three-shift pattern:
Early: 06:00 – 14:15
Late: 14:00 – 22:15
Nights: 22:00 – 06:15
Pay:
£14.21 per hour – Early & Late Shifts
£15.21 per hour – Night Shift
The Role
Working as part of the Warehouse and Logistics team, you will support the day-to-day running of the warehouse and ensure the efficient movement of materials between warehouse and production areas.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting the Logistics Supervisor with the day-to-day running of the logistics operation
Ensuring tasks are completed accurately and within required timescales
Operating a Reach Truck safely and efficiently
Supporting yard duties when required
Working independently and using initiative when required
Moving products, paperwork and equipment between Warehouse and Production
Helping to minimise waste and maximise productivity
Contributing towards departmental KPIs
Participating in training, continuous improvement activities and nominated projects
Following company procedures and Health & Safety requirements
Completing any other reasonable duties requested by management
What We're Looking For
The successful candidate will have:
Minimum 2 years' experience working within a warehouse/logistics environment
A valid Reach Truck licence – essential
Minimum 2 years' Reach Truck experience – essential
Good knowledge of warehouse, logistics and yard operations
A strong understanding of Health & Safety
Excellent attention to detail
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
A reliable and flexible approach to work
The ability to work across a rotating shift pattern
