Sutton Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Despatch Administrator to join our client's team in the Driffield area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and detail-focused administrator looking for part-time hours, with the potential for the role to develop into a full-time position in the future.
The Role
As a Despatch Administrator, you will play an important role in ensuring customer orders are processed accurately, deliveries are coordinated efficiently and all despatch documentation is completed correctly.
Working closely with the warehouse, production and transport teams, you will help ensure products are despatched on time and with full traceability.
Key Responsibilities
Processing customer orders and delivery schedules
Producing despatch notes, invoices and shipping documentation
Coordinating loading schedules with warehouse and production teams
Maintaining accurate stock information within ERP/WMS systems
Maintaining customer delivery records and transport logs
Managing Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation
Ensuring compliance with company procedures and customer requirements
Completing accurate data entry and maintaining despatch records
Filing transport paperwork and delivery documentation
Producing daily KPI reports
Updating spreadsheets and internal systems
Managing emails and telephone enquiries
Producing stock and despatch reports for management
What We're Looking For
The successful candidate will ideally have:
Previous experience in an administration, despatch, logistics or warehouse environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Office
Experience using ERP/WMS systems would be advantageous
Excellent organisational and planning skills
The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
An understanding of stock control and logistics processes
A reliable and proactive approach to work
