On behalf of a highly regarded commercial property firm, we are seeking an exceptional leader to take on a newly established role created as part of a substantial long-term investment in growth. This individual will be at the very top of their game, with an outstanding track record in lease advisory and wider property transactions. The role will be instrumental in defining strategy, leading expansion initiatives, and shaping the future direction of the business.
This is not a replacement appointment or a traditional departmental leadership role. The successful individual will be given the platform, investment and senior-level support to build a market-leading Strategic Lease Management business. You will take ownership of the strategy, grow the retained client base, develop the service proposition and recruit a high-performing team around you. The ambition is for Strategic Lease Management to become one of the consultancy’s principal business divisions.
Working closely with the Chief Executive, Managing Director and Board, you will be responsible for:

Winning and developing relationships with major corporate occupiers
Growing a recurring, retained client base
Providing strategic advice across complex occupational portfolios
Identifying opportunities for portfolio optimisation and cost reduction

Building predictable, long-term recurring fee incomeThe successful individual will have the opportunity to shape strategy, influence Board-level decisions, recruit their own team and share directly in the value they help create.

More important than your current job title will be your ability to combine:
Strong commercial and business development instincts
Strategic occupier-side property expertise
An entrepreneurial, business-building mindset
Credibility with senior property and finance decision-makers
The leadership capability to recruit and develop a team
A collaborative and low-ego approach

Define the strategy and operating model
Recruit your own team
Work directly with the senior leadership and Board
Develop an already proven retained-income proposition
Build long-term value for both clients and the wider business
Participate financially in the success you help generateYou will be supported by existing lease advisory, marketing, business development, finance, administration, technology and CRM resources. A dedicated recruitment budget will also be available in line with the agreed business plan.
The package is designed to allow the successful Director to share meaningfully in the growth they create and will include:
Competitive Director-level base salary
Tiered commission linked to fee generation
