Legal Reception/Admin Assistant required for our Client based in Gloucester - £12.71 per hour - Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm - Temporary position with the potential to become permanent
Our client is seeking a friendly and organised Receptionist to join their busy and professional office in Gloucester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous reception or administration experience who enjoys providing excellent service and working as part of a supportive team.
Initially offered on a temporary basis, this role has the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
As Legal Receptionist you will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, your duties will include:
Answering incoming telephone calls, taking accurate messages and transferring calls to the appropriate person
Scanning incoming documents and correspondence onto the relevant client files (full training provided)
Managing incoming and outgoing post
Maintaining records and updating information on Excel spreadsheets
Ordering office stationery and supplies
Processing client payments using a card payment machine
Providing general administrative support to the wider team
Delivering a professional and welcoming reception serviceThe successful candidate will be:
Friendly, professional and customer-focused
Confident communicating with clients both over the phone and in person
Organised with excellent attention to detail
Comfortable using Microsoft Office, including Excel
Able to manage a varied workload and prioritise tasks effectively
Keen to learn new systems and processesPrevious experience within a reception or administration is essential.
