About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Lettings Agent to join our property management team.
You will be responsible for letting and managing both long-term rented homes and temporary accommodation, ensuring properties are occupied, compliant and well managed while providing excellent customer service.
This is a varied, hands-on role involving lettings, tenancy management, property inspections, arrears management and temporary accommodation placements.
Key Responsibilities

Market properties, manage enquiries and conduct viewings.

Complete referencing, Right to Rent and affordability checks.

Prepare tenancy agreements, licences, inventories and related paperwork.

Manage move-ins, move-outs, inspections and property records.

Monitor rent and arrears and deal confidently with difficult conversations.

Manage temporary accommodation placements, including short-notice moves.

Liaise with the Council, contractors and internal teams.

Raise and monitor repairs and help ensure properties meet health, safety and compliance requirements.

Deal professionally with complaints, anti-social behaviour and tenant/occupant queries.

Minimise void periods and support the efficient re-letting of properties.
About You
You will have:

At least 2 years' experience in residential lettings, property management or housing.

Good knowledge of current lettings legislation and practice, including Right to Rent and deposit protection.

Experience of property marketing, viewings and progressing applicants to occupancy.

Experience dealing with rent, arrears and challenging conversations.

Strong written communication and accurate record-keeping skills.

Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and housing/lettings systems.

A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

The right to work in the UK and willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
Experience of temporary accommodation, homelessness, supported housing or local authority housing would be an advantage
