Tennial Personnel are currently recruiting for a friendly, professional and well-presented Receptionist to join our client’s team on a temporary-to-permanent basis, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful 12-week working period.
This position would suit a candidate seeking either full-time or part-time employment, with flexibility around the days worked. Candidates must be available to work 8:00am to 5:00pm on their chosen working days, with a minimum commitment of 3 days per week preferred.
The role is primarily focused on providing a professional and welcoming reception service, including greeting and signing visitors into the building and acting as the first point of contact for customers, visitors and staff.
Alongside the reception responsibilities, there will be some basic administration and general office duties to assist with as required. The role is generally steady-paced, making it well suited to someone who enjoys a professional working environment and regular interaction with people.
Previous administration or reception experience is not essential. We are particularly interested in candidates with strong customer service and communication skills who are professional, approachable, reliable and confident when dealing with people.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcoming visitors and providing a friendly and professional first point of contact.
Checking visitors into the building and following the relevant sign-in procedures.
Answering and directing telephone calls where required.
Dealing with general enquiries from visitors, customers and staff.
Providing a professional and helpful reception service at all times.
Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised reception area.
Carrying out basic administrative duties as required.
Assisting with general office administration and paperwork.
Completing basic data entry and updating records where necessary.
Receiving and distributing post and deliveries.
Providing support with additional administrative tasks when required.
Working closely with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the reception area.
Following company procedures and maintaining a consistently professional standard of customer service.
Skills Required
Previous reception or administration experience is desirable but not essential.
