Are you an experienced CNC Turner who can both set and program Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes?
This is a permanent opportunity with an established engineering manufacturer in Ferndown, producing precision components for the aerospace sector and working to tight tolerances.

What you'll be doing
You'll be setting and programming CNC turning machines, working from engineering drawings and producing accurate aerospace components.
The role will involve:
Setting CNC lathes
Programming using Fanuc controls
Reading and working from engineering drawings
Setting tooling and offsets
Producing components to tight tolerances
Making programme and offset adjustments where required
Checking work throughout production to make sure components meet specification
What we're looking for
We're looking for CNC Turners who can set and program, with experience working with Fanuc-controlled machines.
You'll need:
Previous experience as a CNC Turner
CNC setting experience
CNC programming experience
Fanuc controls experience
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Experience producing components to tight tolerances
A good understanding of CNC turning processesAerospace experience would be useful, but precision engineering experience from other sectors could also be considered.
