Product Testing Coordinator / Scheduler (Part-Time)
Location: Welwyn Garden City (primarily site-based with some flexibility for 1 day per week home working)
Hours: 22.5 hours per week - part time. Monday to Friday (hours spread across all five days)
Contract: Ongoing Rolling Contract

About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and proactive Product Testing Coordinator / Scheduler to join a busy Insight Team supporting product testing activities for one of the UK's leading retailers.
This is a varied role that sits at the heart of the testing operation, coordinating schedules, managing multiple stakeholders, and ensuring projects run smoothly from planning through to completion.
The successful candidate will be confident managing competing priorities, communicating with a wide range of internal teams, and using their organisational skills to keep testing programmes on track.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage the overall planning and scheduling of product testing activities.
Create and maintain testing schedules to ensure resources and capacity are fully utilised.
Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure testing projects are delivered efficiently and on time.
Support the day-to-day running of testing panels and ensure the correct products are available for testing.
Manage schedule changes due to product availability and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
Review project requirements, timelines, and resource availability to support business priorities.
Create and maintain weekly testing schedules and ensure testing activity is accurately tracked.
Produce reports and share insights with stakeholders within agreed timelines.
Act as the key point of contact for testing-related queries.
Support and lead projects within the wider Insight Team.
Identify opportunities to improve processes and streamline ways of working.
About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys coordinating multiple activities, building strong working relationships, and keeping things organised in a fast-paced environment.
You'll ideally have:
Previous scheduling, planning, coordination, or project support experience.
Excellent organisation and time management skills.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
Experience managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
Strong attention to detail.
The ability to work independently while remaining a collaborative team player.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
Experience producing reports and tracking project activity.
A strong sense of ownership and accountability.Desirable
Experience working within testing, research, insight, or project-based environments.
Food industry knowledge or an interest in food products.
