An established passive fire protection contractor is looking for an experienced Fire Door Carpenter to work across projects throughout the Midlands on a self-employed basis.
The company specialises in fire doors, firestopping and compartmentation, delivering works across residential, commercial, healthcare, education and social housing projects.
Key Responsibilities

Install, repair and maintain fire-rated doors.

Complete fire door installation, remediation and replacement works.

Install and adjust ironmongery including hinges, closers, locks and handles.

Ensure all works are completed to the required quality and compliance standards.

Complete site documentation and photographic records where required.

Liaise with Supervisors and Project Managers to ensure works are delivered efficiently.
Requirements

Proven experience as a Fire Door Carpenter/Installer.

Strong knowledge of fire door installation and remedial works.

NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry & Joinery or equivalent.

CSCS card.
-
Experience across residential, commercial, healthcare or social housing projects advantageous.
