This is an exciting opportunity to join our Tottenham team at MP Moran, a family-owned builders’ merchant. Our Tottenham branch is a one-stop shop for a range of building materials. We are seeking a Stock Controller/Warehouse Operative to be a key member of our team where you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring efficient stock management.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Oversee stock control, including receipt, storage and distribution.
Maintain optimal stock levels to meet current needs without excess or loss.
Investigate discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
Ensure stock records align with physical inventory.
Run stock enquiry reports and take necessary actions.
Prevent stock loss by adhering to company policies and procedures, maintain a minimum requirement of 90% accuracy.
Respond swiftly to problems and discrepancies.
Monitor inventory levels and process adjustments.
Ensure stock records are correct and match the physical holding on site.
Respond quickly to problems and discrepancies identified.
Collect and compile daily damage reports.
Manage the return process to minimise impact on current stock.
Reconcile actual counts with system records.
Respond to product and inventory inquiries.
Be available for stock control functions and end-of-year inventory.
