Location: Aldershot
Rate: £16 - £20 per hour PAYE DoE
Hours: Monday–Thursday 7am–4.30pm, Friday 7am–1pm
We are actively seeking a CNC Machinist to manufacture precision-engineered components for a well-established company based in Aldershot.
The position is within a subcontract precision engineering environment, producing a variety of components for customers across sectors including aerospace, defence, medical and marine.
Responsibilities:

Setting CNC lathes and milling machines for production runs.

Operating machines and monitoring the machining process to maintain quality and productivity.

Creating, modifying and proving CNC programmes where required.

Working with Fanuc, Siemens and other comparable CNC control systems.

Working to close engineering tolerances, typically in the region of ±0.1mm
Requirements:

Previous experience in a CNC machining environment

Experience setting and operating CNC machinery

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
