We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Machinist to join our team based in the S43 area of Chesterfield.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong engineering/manufacturing background who takes pride in producing high-quality work and is confident working in a busy workshop environment.
The Role
As a Machinist, your responsibilities will include:

Operating and setting machinery safely and efficiently

Machining components to required specifications and tolerances

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

Carrying out quality checks on finished components

Using workshop tools and measuring equipment
-
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment

Working as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines

Following all company health & safety procedures
About You
We are looking for someone who:

Has previous experience working as a Machinist within a manufacturing or engineering environment

Can read and understand engineering drawings

Has good attention to detail and takes pride in their work

Is reliable, hardworking and able to work independently

Has a good understanding of workshop health & safety
-
Must hold a valid FLT (Forklift Truck) licence

Previous experience with relevant machinery would be advantageous
