Location: Chesterfield
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Day shifts – no weekends

H&H Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting for a Water Jet Cutter to join a growing manufacturing company based in Chesterfield.

The Role
As a Water Jet Cutter, your duties will include:

Setting up and operating water jet cutting machinery

Cutting materials accurately to specifications and drawings

Loading and unloading materials

Measuring and checking finished components
-
Carrying out quality checks to ensure a high standard of work

Monitoring machinery during production
-
Using an FLT to move materials safely around the site

General machine maintenance and housekeeping
-
Following all health & safety procedures

Working closely with the wider production team
Essential Requirements
-
Must hold a valid FLT licence
-
Previous experience working within a manufacturing, engineering or machining environment

Good attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work from measurements and specifications

Reliable, hardworking and keen to develop

Comfortable working in a busy manufacturing environment
Desirable Experience
-
Previous water jet cutting experience
-
CNC or other machine operating experience
-
Experience working with different materials and cutting processes
Candidates with relevant machining experience and a genuine willingness to learn water jet cutting may also be considered.

Monday to Friday
07:00 – 17:00
No weekend working.
