Welfare Support Executive | Qualified Social Worker | London | Circa £40,000 | Permanent
A leading Armed Forces charity is looking for a Welfare Support Executive to join their London casework team, and this is a rare chance to put your social work skills to work somewhere they will be properly valued.
You will manage a caseload of welfare referrals, carrying out holistic assessments for beneficiaries facing complex needs, and building the action plans that get them the right support, whether that is from the charity itself, statutory services, or the wider military charity sector. Beyond your own casework, you will be a go-to source of social work guidance for the wider welfare team, and will help shape the organisation's approach to safeguarding.
What makes this different
-
Real ownership of your caseload, not a box-ticking exercise
-
A close-knit, mission-driven team that takes care of its people
-
Hybrid working pattern with up to 2 days per week from home
-
Circa £40,000 salary plus a strong benefits package
-
A Central London base with genuine flexibility around how you work
You will need
-
Qualified social worker status, with at least 3 years' post-qualification experience gained in a Local Authority or charitable setting
-
A strong grasp of safeguarding legislation and best practice
-
Confidence working with vulnerable people, statutory bodies, and internal stakeholders alike
-
Enhanced DBS check and full right to work in the UK
