Operating a forklift truck or industrial truck in accordance with applicable safety and standard operating procedures

Checking and documenting that forklift trucks are in working order and clean at the start of each shift

Sorting out, reporting and labelling defective load carriers

Maintaining the cleanliness of forklift trucks and the warehouse, and complying with health and safety regulations

Loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing deliveries

Recording of received goods in the warehouse management system

Storing received and recorded goods, following storage rules/procedures.

Retrieving goods for internal production supply/external customer supply

Adherence to recording procedures (scanning) during storage and retrieval to ensure accurate stock management

Assistance with stock-taking

Quantity checks on all incoming and outgoing goods

Issuing delivery notes (empty containers)

Actively supporting the planning department in handling discrepancies and implementing process improvements
Reporting delivery discrepancies (e.g. late deliveries) to the planning department

Warehouse employee, forklift licence with at least 2 years’ driving experience, knowledge of logistics

Basic knowledge of IT/retail management systems
