GVR Solutions are working with a well-established specialist joinery fit-out contractor based in Loughton, Essex, delivering high-quality bespoke joinery and interior fit-out projects across the commercial, residential and high-end sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Draughtsman to join their team and play a key role in the design and delivery of their projects.
Key Responsibilities of the Draughtsman:

Produce detailed technical and manufacturing drawings for bespoke joinery and fit-out projects.

Prepare general arrangement drawings, setting-out drawings, elevations, sections and detailed construction drawings.

Liaise with clients, architects, designers, site teams and suppliers to resolve technical queries.

Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, design intent and manufacturing requirements.

Review and amend drawings in line with client comments and project changes.
-
Work closely with the workshop and site teams to ensure designs are practical and achievable.

Manage drawing revisions and maintain accurate project documentation.

Support the wider design and project teams throughout the delivery process.
Requirements of the Draughtsman:

Previous experience as a Draughtsman within the joinery, cabinetry, furniture or interior fit-out sector.

Strong knowledge of technical drawing and manufacturing processes.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or relevant CAD software.

Ability to interpret architectural drawings and translate design concepts into detailed technical information.

Good understanding of joinery construction, materials and installation methods.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
-
Strong communication and organisational skills.
-
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
