The Health & Safety Advisor is responsible for supporting the delivery of health and safety standards on a major MEP construction project, ensuring compliance, effective risk management and safe working practices are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Reporting directly to the Health & Safety Lead, the role will work closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Engineers, site teams, subcontractors and supply chain partners to promote a positive safety culture and ensure compliance with legislation, procedures and project-specific requirements.
Key responsibilities include carrying out regular site inspections and audits, reviewing RAMS, monitoring site activities and subcontractor performance, supporting toolbox talks and safety briefings, identifying hazards and unsafe practices, and assisting with incident investigations and corrective actions.
The Health & Safety Advisor will provide day-to-day support and guidance to the wider project team, helping to identify and mitigate risks, maintain high standards across site operations and ensure the project is delivered safely
