Early finish FridaysDue to continued growth and the securing of new contracts, my client is looking to hire a heavy plant fitter to work in their state of the art facility, with some travel to site involved.
Responsibilities:
Carrying out planned servicing, overhaul work, and maintenance on a varied fleet of heavy plant and foundation equipment from the workshop
Undertake periodic field service visits across England and Wales to handle site repairs, emergency breakdowns, and technical support.
Perform advanced fault-finding on complex hydraulic circuits, diesel engine systems, and basic auto-electrics.
Keep digital and physical maintenance records, service sheets, and defect logs updated.
Minimal stayaway requirement for distant site support, fully covered with company allowances.
Requirements:
Holds a level 2 in plant maintenance or equivalent
Must hold a valid UK driving licence
Must live a commutable distance from Burton on trent
