We’re looking for an experienced Learning Disability Social Worker to join a supportive adult social care team. You’ll help adults with learning disabilities to build independence, access the right support and achieve the outcomes that matter to them.

The role
You will complete strengths-based assessments, develop person-centred care and support plans, manage a varied caseload and work closely with families, providers and partner agencies. Your focus will be on supporting adults with learning disabilities to maximise their independence, wellbeing and quality of life.
What you’ll need
A recognised Social Work qualification
Current Social Work England registration
Experience working with adults with learning disabilities
Strong assessment, care planning and safeguarding skills
The ability to work effectively with families, providers and multi-disciplinary partners
A commitment to inclusive, strengths-based and person-centred practice
