About the Role
We are currently recruiting Healthcare Assistants / Support Workers to work in care and support settings across Wrexham (LL11 and LL14).
Job Responsibilities

Provide care and support to children and young people.

Assist with personal care and daily living activities.

Support children with emotional, behavioural and complex needs.

Support children who may display challenging or aggressive behaviour.

Follow individual care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures.

Use appropriate techniques to manage challenging behaviour safely.

Monitor and report changes in the child's wellbeing or behaviour.
-
Maintain accurate care records.
-
Promote the safety, dignity and wellbeing of children at all times.

Work effectively with the wider care and support team.
Mandatory Requirements
-
Experience supporting children with challenging behaviour, aggression or complex needs is required.
-
Physical Intervention Training is essential.
-
Accepted training certificates: MAPA, CPI, NPI, Team-Teach or PRICE.

Must have relevant challenging behaviour / aggression management or physical intervention training.
-
Must be registered with Social Care Wales.
-
Must have a valid Enhanced DBS.
-
Good communication skills and a caring, professional attitude.
