Bricklayer Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Bricklayer to join a well-established property maintenance and repairs team working across Merseyside. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship within occupied and void residential properties.
The successful candidate will carry out a variety of brickwork repairs and building maintenance tasks, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out bricklaying works including repairs to walls, structures, and brickwork features.
- Work from drawings, specifications, and job instructions to complete works to the required standard.
- Prepare and apply mortar, ensuring correct alignment and positioning of materials.
- Cut and shape bricks and blocks using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Undertake repairs to brickwork, blockwork, and other related structures.
- Maintain safe, clean, and compliant working areas at all times.
- Accurately complete job records and documentation using PDA or digital systems.
- Work collaboratively with other trades and operatives.
- Deliver a high standard of workmanship with a strong focus on first-time fixes.
- Provide a professional and customer-focused service while working within occupied homes.
About You
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- Proven experience as a Bricklayer within repairs and maintenance, construction, or housing environments.
- Ability to interpret drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations and best practices.
- Experience within social housing or property maintenance environments (desirable).
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
