Furnaceman / Furnace Operator
Location: Brownhills
Job Type: Full-Time – Temp to Perm
Pay Rate: £14.99 per hour to £17.50 per/hour plus bonus
Working Hours whilst on the agency: Monday to Thursday: 10.15 am - 16.00 pm 08.30 am - 17.00 pm Friday
Once trained you will go onto continental shifts 4 on 4 off - 6.00 am - 18.00 pm
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Furnaceman / Furnace Operator to join a reputable and growing manufacturer based in Brownhills. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with foundry experience who is looking for stable hours and the chance to secure a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities

Operate induction furnaces

Safely load and unload materials

Monitor temperatures, timings, and treatment processes to ensure quality standards are met

Carry out basic equipment checks and report any faults or maintenance issues

Follow all health and safety procedures at all times

Maintain a clean and organised working environment
Requirements
-
Previous experience as a Furnaceman or within a foundry environment

Strong awareness of workplace health and safety

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Reliable with good timekeeping

Strong attention to detail
