Commissioning Engineer Salary: £35-40k per annum (inclusive of shift uplift) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Location: Warrington, Cheshire

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Commissioning Engineer/ Site Engineer to deliver high-quality engineering support at customer sites.
This role is responsible for commissioning, maintaining, and optimising electro-mechanical equipment while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction, safety compliance, and first-time fix performance.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical capability, a professional on-site presence, and a disciplined approach to processes and quality.

Key Responsibilities

Commission and ensure equipment performance meets or exceeds customer expectations
Carry out corrective and preventative maintenance to OEM standards
Diagnose faults methodically and deliver effective first-time fixes
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation
Manage parts usage, stock control, and related documentation accurately
Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in safe, serviceable condition

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

Mechanical or Electrical qualification (Degree, Diploma, or equivalent experience)
A good mixture of Mechanical and Electrical skills
Proven experience working with electro-mechanical equipment (e.g. packaging, automation etc)
Strong experience in a customer-facing engineering role
