Multi Trader – Kent
We are looking for experienced and adaptable Multi Traders to join our team, working across the Maidstone and Sittingbourne areas.
The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out responsive repairs and general property maintenance across a large residential housing portfolio. You’ll play an important role in keeping homes safe, functional and well maintained, while providing a professional service to residents.
Key Responsibilities

Complete a variety of responsive repairs and general maintenance tasks within residential properties.

Carry out carpentry, joinery and associated repair work.

Undertake minor plumbing repairs and installations.

Complete patch plastering, tiling, decorating and other finishing works as required.

Identify faults and determine the most appropriate repair solution.

Work efficiently both independently and as part of a wider maintenance team.

Maintain high standards of workmanship, health and safety and customer service.

Accurately record work completed using digital systems and mobile devices.
You should have:

Proven experience in property maintenance or a multi-trade role.

Good practical skills in areas such as carpentry, plumbing, plastering and general building repairs.

The ability to assess problems, diagnose faults and complete suitable repairs.

Strong attention to detail and a practical approach to problem solving.

Previous experience working within occupied or tenanted properties.

Confidence using a PDA, smartphone or other digital work-recording systems.

A relevant NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 qualification or equivalent as a minimum.

Additional trade qualifications would be beneficial.

A full, clean UK driving licence.

A valid DBS check, or willingness to complete one.

The right to work in the UK, with appropriate documentation.

A professional manner and a strong customer-focused approach.
