The Role
As a Class 2 Refuse Driver, you will operate a refuse collection vehicle while working as part of a team to provide domestic waste collections across residential areas.
Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle

Work alongside loaders to complete daily collection routes

Ensure bins are emptied and returned safely to designated locations

Complete all scheduled collections and assist with missed bins where required

Carry out vehicle checks and report any defects

Follow all health and safety, road traffic and operational procedures
Requirements

Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence

Driver CPC Qualification Card

Digital Tachograph Card
-
Good communication and teamwork skills

Positive attitude and willingness to work outdoors

Previous waste and recycling experience is beneficial but not essential
