1st Line Support Engineer
Our client is recruiting for a 1st Line Support Engineer to join a busy IT team supporting users across the business. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills and previous IT support experience who us looking to further develop their technical knowledge in a varied, hands-on role.
You'll act as a key point of contact for end users, providing day-to-day support across a range of technologies while working closely with the wider IT team to ensure systems remain reliable, secure and effective.
What We're Looking For
Deliver first-line technical support to users across the business.
Log, troubleshoot and resolve IT issues relating to hardware, software and business applications.
Support users both remotely and onsite, ensuring a high level of customer service.
Escalate more complex incidents where required whilst maintaining ownership of tickets.
Assist with device setup, deployment and user onboarding activities.
Work collaboratively with the wider IT team to maintain stable and efficient IT services.
Contribute to documentation, system improvements and IT best practices.Experience Required
Previous experience in a 1st Line Support, IT Support Technician or Service Desk role.
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Experience troubleshooting desktops, laptops, mobile devices and peripherals.
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues in a structured manner.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
