Manufacturing Technicians
Mission
We are seeking detail-oriented Manufacturing Technicians for a number of ongoing projects in the North West to join our growing production team. This is a hands-on role involving the fabrication and installation of precision components used within advanced structures.
Working within a quality-driven manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for interpreting technical information, carrying out mechanical assembly operations, and ensuring products meet stringent industry standards.
Key Responsibilities

Manufacture and install precision components using a variety of hand and power tools.

Interpret technical drawings, work packages, and build instructions.

Perform hole preparation, fastening and fitting activities to required tolerances.

Complete structural assembly tasks in accordance with engineering specifications.

Undertake quality checks and dimensional inspections throughout the manufacturing process.

Accurately complete build records and production documentation.

Identify and report quality, safety, or process concerns.

Maintain a safe, organised, and efficient work area.

Contribute to continuous improvement activities and support team objectives.
Profile
What We're Looking For

NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds qualification, or equivalent in an engineering-related discipline.

Experience working within a manufacturing, engineering, or production environment.

Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Strong practical skills and confidence using engineering tools and equipment.

Experience working to tight tolerances and quality standards.

Good communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude.

Flexible approach to working hours and shift patterns.
Desirable Experience
-
Background in aerospace, defence, automotive, rail, or other precision engineering sectors.

Experience of structural assembly or mechanical fitting activities.

Familiarity with quality management systems and inspection techniques
